What does the AKC Bred With H.E.A.R.T. Certification mean?

Braemore Cavaliers is credentialed as a Bred With H.E.A.R.T. kennel by the American Kennel Club (AKC).   This process entails onsite inspections by the AKC.   It also means that we health test our  parenting dogs in accordance with the recommendations of our breed’s National Breed Club.   Additionally  we participate in continuing breeder education so that we are informed on the best breeding practices and  also comply with the AKC Canine Care and Conditions Policy.  It is your assurance that we obey all laws regarding the ownership and maintenance of dogs and uphold the AKC’s tradition of breeding purebred dogs that are happy and healthy.

We breed only occasionally, always aspiring to further improve our Cavaliers. Our puppies are hand raised in our home with the primary goal of our occasional breedings to produce show quality cavaliers.     We understand the importance of breeding healthy Cavaliers and have our breeding dogs tested by specialist veterinarians annually as required by the American Kennel Club H.E.A.R.T. certification. Our Cavaliers are carefully bred with emphasis on health, temperament and beauty. All pets are sold on limited registration. Visitors are always welcome.
